Framing
Frame or no frame? The first rule about frames: the frame should match the artwork, not match your home. You can decorate your art to match your decor if you like, but to get the most of any artwork, the frame should compliment the art first.
Recessed Mount or frameless mount. These float about 3/4" off your walls. All of my prints come ready to hang to create a floating look and do not require framing. This is a contemporary-modern look and displays beautifully in any home or office. However, we do offer framing options. Our moldings are made of the finest quality and sustainable woods, hand crafted and custom made to order. These frames enhance the look and feel of the finished Artwork.
Hanging Guidelines Using D-Rings
Your artwork comes with two D-Rings securely attached to the back of your artwork.
Positioning Your Hanging Hooks
- Measure the width between the two D-Rings
- Then measure the height (Top of the Frame to Your D-Rings)
- Mark on the Wall where your measurements are and where you want the Artwork Positioned.
- Included with your Artwork, there are Two Hanging (J)Hooks. You will attach them to the wall where you previously Marked.

Never String a Wire Between Two D-Rings. If you do this with a wire, it will break the D-Rings and Separate the Corner Joints of your Frame. Always use caution when hanging heavy frames. We Recommend having separate hanging points. Each D-Ring should hook onto a picture Hanger and/or Anchor that is Secured into a Mounted Surface.
Hanging Your Artwork Using Wall Cleats
Your Artwork contains wall Cleats that are Taped to the Back of the Frame. Remove them after opening the package. The wall type where the artwork is to be displayed will determine the type of Anchors and Screws that you will need. Typically you will need #7 Flathead Screws and Anchoring System. Large Frames Require Two People for Hanging. Place the image at eye level for Best Viewing and use a Level to place the Cleats on the wall and then screw them into position.
Hanging of the Framed Artwork should be Done by Professionals. Carlos Cuba Fine Art is not responsible for Personal Injury or Property Damage. Please Use Caution.
